COURSE DESCRIPTION

LONG COURSE 

The race will begin with a 1 lap 2.5km run out over the pedestrian bridge, keeping to the left of the path, there will be an aid station on the run course, athletes will be encouraged to pick the cups of water ups themselves to reduce contact with volunteers.

Once the run is complete athletes will run into transition where they will head out on a 2 lap 10km bike ride. Heading out of the venue over the car bridge and turning left onto the event path. When coming to the completion of the 2nd lap athletes them turn left on the car bridge and into transition and then head out for another 1 lap 2.5km before heading out on another 2 x laps of the bike course before heading into transition for the final time for a 2.5km run to the finish line

RACE DAY COMPETITION RULES    

GENERAL RACE INFORMATION

​ 

  • Timing - will be Webscorer, so no race splits will be available just and overall time.

  • Throughout the registration and racking bike please adhere to social distancing guidelines, hand sanitiser will be available at registration and at entry to transition. 

  •  Medals will be awarded to first three in each of the categories male and female of the Long Course and short course races. 

  • Aid stations will be self serve, there will be volunteers restocking the table, but athletes are responsible for picking up their own cups

  • Post race food and drinks will be provided for athletes 

COVID- 19  RACE SAFE INFORMATION

# This information will change from 27/6 and will be update when information available

We are working closely with Venues and Stakeholders to ensure a safe return to racing, as the situation is changing constantly we will update information as it comes to hand.

COVID - 19 has changed race day procedures for the future, small adjustments will have to be made by athletes, volunteers, race organisers, spectators and race venues, but we are all working hard to put forward the best race experience possible.

Entries to the race will open July 1st and will be fully refundable if the event is cancelled due to COVID 19.
