  • RACE 1 - SWIM/BIKE/RUN

Race 1 is a traditional swim, bike and run to get athletes familiar with the course. The swim is a

beach start and 1 lap of 300m swim, exiting on the boat ramp and into transition. The bike is also a 7km 1 lap loop before heading into transition and out on a 1 lap out and back 1.5km run until athletes run through the finish line to recover for race 2.

Race 2 starts with a 1.5km run, instead of running through the finish line athletes will then transition where they will grab swim cap and googles ( most will run with them already on or down the tri suit )  where they will exit transition and head towards the swim start, athletes will have the option to either run in from the beach or dive from the pontoon they will swim the 300m course before exiting on the boat ramp and into transition for the 7km bike leg. Once athletes have finished the bike leg, they will rack their bikes and run across the dismount line and then turn right and race towards the finish line.  Shoes are optional.

Race 3 will start with a 100m run to get to the bike,. SHOES COMPULSORY. Athletes will then ride out on the 7km cycle loop before heading into transition and starting out on the 1.5km run.  They will then head into transition and grab their goggles and swim cap and shoot out on the last leg of the day, the 300m swim.  Again athletes can chose to enter the swim from the beach or from the pontoon and complete the swim leg. The finish line will be under the shaded area to the left of the boat ramp, on the grass. The day is then done.
